Below is a list of just a few things we've been up to so far this year...
December 2012:
December image Happy Christmas! 2012 has ended with some great commercial projects.
Our four-day studio shoot of Go Ahead biscuits went really well and stretched our stomachs nicely for Christmas.

We've photographed the range of new Tick-tok fusion watches, new student accommodation at the University of Bedfordshire, PR shots of a building being demolished in Trowbridge and a tree planting outside our studio!

Weddings have continued amongst all the commercial work, along with us covering a 21st birthday party at Lucknam Park in Wiltshire.

Happy New Year to everyone, and hope you all have a fantastic 2013.
November 2012:
November image This month we've been busy on the commercial side of things with PR and advertising shoots in-store in branches of Sainsburys across Bristol, and in Wiltshire for the opening of a new care home and a local toddler group. We've also covered a test shoot for upcoming work photographing a range of biscuits(!), several weddings and a family portrait shoot.

This month is traditionally also the start of our new marketing campaigns and material for 2013. A task that becomes more exciting every year. In the next few weeks we'll be launching some new packages and wedding photography options, special offers for portrait and wedding work during quieter months, a raft of updates to the website including a new gallery viewer. Watch this space...

(and we'll probably be eating a lot of free biscuits too)
October 2012:
October image This month we've been lucky enough to escape the cold for a few days whilst photographing some holiday apartments in Florida.
30 degrees C, aerial photography from a helocopter and some good American craft beers more than made up for the long commute.

Back in the UK, Mark has been covering corporate events in Cambridge and Wiltshire, some local portrait work, and photographed the board of Directors for a company in London.

Finally, we've been exceptionally lucky with the weather for weddings in October - with some of the sunniest weddings of the whole year this month.
September 2012:
September image As wedding season starts to quieten down for this year, we're meeting lots of new clients for weddings in 2013, with Mark, Tash and Steve all exhibiting at various wedding fairs across Wiltshire, Bath and Bristol in September.

The commercial side of the business has been quite a mixed bunch this month with everything from an awards ceremony in Trowbridge to putting on some wellies to photograph a campsite on a farm.

Meanwhile away from the office Steve and Mark have been busy, between them running a cross country 10k in Hampshire, a Duathlon in Wiltshire and the Bristol half marathon.
August 2012:
August image August is usually our busiest month and this year has been no exception.

On the events and commercial side of the business we have been back to The Wiltshire golf club, with Tash photographing the teams teeing off with Peter Alliss to raise a record amount for charity. We've posed the Directors of mobile games development company Neon Play for some PR shots in their new swanky offices.

Among the weddings we photographed this month, Steve and tash had one particularly stand out - returning to photograph a wedding at Newbridge Farm in Oxfordshire, almost 5 years to the day that they were married there.

Finally this month - a massive thanks to everyone who has kindly sent us words of thanks for our wedding photography as this month the tally of testimonials on the wedding pages reached 100. Thanks!
July 2012:
July image Despite the rain, July has been another exciting month.

We've been back to the Larmer Tree festival as official photographers, photographed a pub in Dorset, a language school in Bristol, and an English language competition in Cambridge.

In the studio we're had a large 5 day shoot for a fantastic clothing company, and have covered weddings in Wales, Plymouth, Kent, Bristol, Bath and Wiltshire.

No time to rest though, as next month we have a record number of bookings to get stuck into...
June 2012:
June image This month we've undertaken our largest commercial shoot to date for Cambridge University ESOL: 3 photographers, 2 locations, 26 models over 6 days. The shoot is for a worldwide rebrand of their English for Schools Exam which rolls out over the next few months.

Other commercial work this month has ranged from photographing care homes in Wiltshire to a birthday party for mobile games development company, Neon Play.

And of course wedding season is now in full swing with us covering another 11 weddings this month.
May 2012:
May image May = Wedding season!

This month we've set a new record for the number of weddings we've photographed in a single month - 12 in total.

The weddings have taken us the length and breadth of the country from Cornwall to Yorkshire, and if anything, this month really does confirm that no two weddings are the same. This month we've been to venues ranging from a farm to a castle with guest numbers from 30 to 210. We've also seen all types of weather, but despite this still managed to get outside for the group photos.
April 2012:
April image This month has seen The Little Photo Company travel to a new continent.

We've previously photographed weddings across Europe and in the US, however this month, after a chance meeting at a wedding fair in Bristol, we've been out to photograph Eli and Sarkis's wedding in The Gambia in West Africa.

It was a beautiful wedding with great people and weather, and held in a fabulous setting, so most definitely will be featuring in our 2013 portfolio.

We're always keen to photograph in new destinations, so if you have an event planned in an exotic or exciting location, we'd be happy to offer generous discounts - so please do get in touch!.
March 2012:
March image March has been as busy as it was sunny.

This month we started working with one of the biggest house-builders in the country, photographing their new housing developments across the South West of England.

We received one of the first batch of Nikon D4 cameras and already it's been put to work photographing two very sunny weddings and a fashion shoot.

Mark has become a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, and we've some exciting jobs on the horizon including Steve, Tash and Martin having all signed up to return to photograph the Larmer Tree Festival again this year.

And finally, another of our weddings goes into print this month - however not in a bridal publication, but a Land Rover magazine! The magazine is featuring Fran and Chris Barwell's wedding shot by Nadine and Martin last year - a wedding which included not just a historic Land Rover, but also bison, tractor rides, woodland walks and parachutes.
February 2012:
February image This month we've spent more time with in various pubs meeting new wedding clients than in the studio! It's been great fun meeting everyone and has resulted in a record number of wedding bookings for us taken this January and February. Currently we're up to 55 bookings for 2012 weddings, but with Tash back off maternity leave, we've still plenty of availability. So if you're looking for a friendly wedding photographer please do get in touch.

On the commercial side of things, last month's Valentine's campaign for 3M was a real success with over 135000 views on You Tube, so we've been invited back to shoot a mother's day campaign for the same agency.

Finally, this month is also a bit of a gadget-fest as we've just placed orders for Nikon's new D4 for Tash, and a tilt shift lens for architectural photography.
January 2012:
January image 2012 started with further work on the latest 3M campaign that we have been photographing.

Produced by digital marketing agency, 20:20, its a video shot entirely using stills, offering a first person perspective of a valentine's day story unfolding and can be seen here.

Although January is always a quiet month for photographing weddings, this month has been our busiest ever for meeting new clients. We exhibited at two major wedding fairs this month, have taken numerous bookings for weddings as far and wide as Cornwall, West Sussex and Derbyshire.
