Below is a list of just a few things we've been up to so far this year...
December 2013:
December image As we wound down for Christmas this year we photographed: a couple of Christmas evening events, a new housing development in Wiltshire, a winter wedding - and to help us forget about the cold outside, started work photographing a clothing company's new Spring/Summer range!

December is also the time of year we update all our portfolio and website ready for the new year ahead so watch this space for some new upcoming photography packages that we are launching in January.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!
November 2013:
November image November this year we'll remember for the weather! We photographed the first edition of the Monster Race - a cross country race through a beautiful parkland over (/under and through!) gruelling obstacles, here we experienced everything from bright sunshine and blue skies, to horizontal rain! We had family portrait shoots cancelled due to relentless showers, only to be rescheduled on bright crisp autumnal days. We also covered some lovely wintery and Christmassy weddings, complete with fireworks and town Christmas lights celebrations!
Tash has been busy photographing some pre-school and nursery groups so that the images can be ready in time for Christmas. While on the corporate side of the business we've been photographing for various organisations in London, Salford, Bristol and Bath, as well as photographing branches and staff of a national chain of estate agents.
October 2013:
October image October has been a varied month. On the commercial side of the business we've photographed two corporate award ceremonies, in-store media photography for one of the major supermarkets, numerous properties for a national chain of estate agents, and regular studio shoots. On the family-side of things we've covered a new born baby shoot, a family portrait shoot, two toddler group photography sessions, and a fiftieth birthday extravaganza in Exeter, including a beautiful walk with a great bunch of people out on Dartmoor. Weddings too are still busy, having photographed weddings and civil partnerships this month, in Bath, Bristol, Newport and London.
September 2013:
September image As our peak wedding season draws to a close, we've been to Wales, London, Bristol, Essex and the Cotwolds to photograph some great end of summer weddings as well as some brilliant local weddings. This month has seen some fantastic themes for weddings, including table names in the form of marathon numbers and 12" records, gondola racing in a hotel swimming pool, and in South West Wales we even pictured a bride and her bridesmaids arriving at the ceremony in the bucket of a farm vehicle driven by her father! This month Tash has been kept doubly busy with family & nursery portrait sessions, Martin with a charity book event in London, Mark with corporate staff photos and Steve photographing various properties across Wiltshire. Whilst in the studio we've photographed everything from ladies fashion to gift hampers for dogs.
August 2013:
August image August is proving as busy as ever for weddings and as if to prove the saying that no two are the same, this month we've photographed ceremonies on board ship, in a castle, in hotels, at a country house, on a golf course, in a town hall, on a family farm and in a field!!!
When not driving across all courners of the country for weddings we've been busy photographing a family party, a Christening, baby portraits and an engagement shoot.

Commercial work this month has been just as varied, ranging from a charity golf tournament to taking on a large contract to photograph properties for a national estate agent chain.
July 2013:
July image Summer is here! and we're making the most of it. During July we've been topping up our sun tans whilst returning again as official photographers of the Larmer Tree Festival - 5 glorious days of sunshine and some fantastic music, theatre, dance and comedy to capture.

While the sun has been shining we've also been doing some fundarising work including photographing several local pre-schools and nurseries, and running a popup studio at our local village fete.

July has of course is also peak wedding season - congratulations to all our wedding clients - including 5 weddings in the last weekend of July alone!
June 2013:
June image New York, New York! Congratulations and thanks to Ivana and Dave Hulin - This month we finally photographed a wedding in a destination we've been excited about for some time: Manhattan! Over a four day period we covered the wedding from initial rehersals through the wedding day itself and even a post wedding shoot at Grand Central station.

In the studio we've been hard at work photographing a new range of dog chews and biscuits (currently under press embargo so that is all we can say!).
Our Facebook page is gathering pace, now with over 250 likes it has more friends than my own personal page! Our aim was for 500 likes by the end of the first year it's been running so hopefully we're well on target to exceed that.
May 2013:
May image With our Facebook page continuing to fly (some posts are now reaching an audience of 8000 people) we've been inspired to embrace the next social media site on our hit list: Pintrest.

We're drawing on our archive of over 750,000 images from weddings we've photographed over the last eight years to pick out unique, brilliant and original ideas to inspire your big day. We're releasing new boards every week throughout the summer - so if you've got an idea for a theme, please drop us a line, and we'll see what we can put together!

Away from our desks, we've been photographing weddings all over the country - and beyond! At the end of May, Mark travelled out to Villa Palazzola nr. Rome to photograph Fran and Russell's big day.
April 2013:
April image April has flown past in quite a blur, but looking back we've had a pretty exciting month. Our Facebook page is now well and truely flying with details of all of our recent wedding shoots we've done.

Also on the internet side of things, we've finally got a great affordable solution for selling prints online. We've teamed up with Photobox to provide a simple solution to allow our clients to buy prints directly with prices as low as £1 per print. The new system should roll out over the next six weeks.
This month has seen some exciting photoshoots, including a trip up to Inverness to cover Alice and Jack's wedding, a 40th birthday barndance, and Kay and Guy's 1940's style wedding at Duxford Imperial War museum.
March 2013:
March image This month we finally got on board with social media, starting with the launch of our Facebook page. So far we've showcased some of this year's weddings and events on it and its had a fantastic reception.

Currently we're building up a loyal fanbase in readiness for some great offers and free portrait shoots on there later in the year. You can visit the page here.

Photography-wise we've had the usual eclectic mix of work including photoshoots covering everything from a children's toddler group to a funeral director.
February 2013:
February image Despite being a short month we've packed a lot in to February:

On the wedding side of the business we've photographed our first four weddings of the year, proving that people are still getting married in 2013 despite suggestions couples might avoid this year due to superstitions! We're also ramping up our packages for destination weddings, currently this year we're booked out to photograph weddings in New York and Rome.

In the studio we've been joined by a new mannequin - having undertaken our first studio shoot for children's clothing. Finally, in complete contrast to our warm, clean studio, we've signed up for some mud, in the form of photographing a new gruelling running race through bogs and over obstacles - the Monster Race: www.monsterrace.co.uk
January 2013:
January image 2013 has seen in a major overhaul of our website. We've introduced a new client gallery viewer which is fully compatible with iPhones and iPads. Our wedding examples have been refreshed with new, easier to access images, and we've added new options and a platinum package.

In the last few years we've photographed weddings across the US, Africa and Europe, and with upcoming weddings in Rome and New York this year, we've created a destination weddings page which we'll keep updated with new information over the coming months - if you're planning a wedding abroad do contact us as we're always keen to photograph in new locations so can offer discounts accordingly.

We've a lot of new ideas being introduced over the next 12 months, including special offers and our first foray into the publishing world - details of which will be announced here on the website.

Aside from our updates to the website, work goes on - even throughout the snow in January. Our commercial side of the business has been busy covering a two-day event in Cambridge, clothing and food studio shoots and an award ceremony at Bowood House in Wiltshire.
